Swim Suits!

Summer Time
  is just around the corner!! Looking at swimming suits got me really excited for warm weather!! I don't know if I can make it through the humidity of Nashville... but i'll try

Vintage Style is the new thing this year!! Not sure how I feel about this style... but its really growing on me... I'm thinking soon they will be bringing back bell bottoms.... and then I'll be saying how much I love bell bottoms and the skinny jeans will be gone...It's always exciting to see what's next with fashion. There are tons of cute ones on these two sites  urbanoutfitters and  vintage

Can't wait to get my new swimsuit!! Wish I could have all of these!! Maybe I will since Ben will never know haha!

Vision Board

If you haven't seen the movie "The Secret" it's a great way to get motivated! The "Secret" is the idea that if you see it and believe it, it will happen! So...you make a vision board using old magazines or other items to envision the things you want to receive from life. You need to think of these things happening to you and say them over and over.

Last year I put that I wanted to get a camera and my parents happened to get a new camera and gave me their old one.... I don't think that was coincidence. 

This is a my new vision board... I am going to also make one to hang in my room, so I can see it every day!

I want a new bike! I just want to be able to ride this bike whenever and wherever I want... It would be nice for the hubby to have one too.

I want to do more service and help those who cannot help themselves... that is why I support PEOPLE WATER

 

Being healthy is being happy! I want to go to the gym 3 times a week!!! Usually I barley make it once... so sad.. that's why I'm making this vision board!

Travel to Egypt. I want this to be me!!

Travel to Australia! I would love to see Kangaroos jumping across the beach! 

Next destination on the list is Ireland!! Ahhh look how pretty it is... so green!!

                                                     Keep practicing my ice skating. I use to ice skate a lot and then my coach moved away and it got harder to go... but I really want/need to get back into the sport!

Truman- After Bedtime Session

Drew and Lacey's After Bedtime Session!!

Had a great time at Drew and Lacey's for dinner and a show! Truman was lucky enough to be on their after bedtime session, which really does happen after they put their kids to bed! ha! Once the little ones are tucked away they bring out the works and put on a live show ( which you can listen to online) It's awesome to hear how everything sounds raw and real! I loved being able to watch the magic happen! It was great to listen to the new song Truman and Lacey wrote...being played in all its glory! It was also a new combination to have one of Truman's Songs be played with a violin and Mandolin.

Bowling Time

  Ben and I went bowling with all our friends! It was so much fun to do something different on a Friday night....watching movies is usually what we do... BORING! 

So... During the game I tried to break 100... didn't happen once again! Maybe next time! 

 

I thought Ben had some pretty good skills while bowling... very good form

I was excited to wear my new leggings....not the best bowling outfit though!! I looked like a dork with my un- matching high socks and short leggins...

Patriotic Craft

Easy to do Patriotic Craft!

First you get a shadow box at hobby lobby. I got it when it was on sale... which is half the price.

Next, I collected antique pieces that were centered around the theme. You could also try doing other themes with this same concept. This was the hardest part for me, because it was difficult to find exactly what I wanted. They only things that are not antique are the pins, everything else is.

These spoons were my favorite things I found. The are spoons with each presidents name and face. They also have a picture of what that president did during their term.

Finally put everything together... first lay it out the way you want and then glue. I just used a hot glue gun to hold everything in place.

Now we have the finished product on the wall in our "Patriotic room"
