Christmas Craft

So, I thought I would be crafty and make tiny Christmas Trees!! I was so excited about this I couldn't wait to share it on here!!

NEED:

Scissors
Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Card stock paper
Twine
Tape

*All of this you can purchase at any craft store

Directions:
Cut the corners of the card stock paper so it looks like a baseball stadium. Then, roll paper into a cone shape and tape. If it's not perfectly straight you can cut it at the bottom to make it balanced. I found it easiest to glue like an inch or two and then wrap the twine. Repeat this process till you reach the end then cut the twine and you are finished!

Merry Christmas!

New Nephew!!!

I have a new nephew!! He was pretty early but we are so grateful to have him here. He was born at 28 weeks. He is doing so well and is such a brave boy! He is now breathing all on his own. What a little fighter! We are still not sure all the details because they have to wait 72 hours before they let anyone hold him or take any measurements.... So we are in limbo right now till we hear more. Thank you so much for all your prayers for this little guy and his family! It is going to be a long road....but everything will work out! I am so grateful for families and that families are forever. I know that this little guys brother Ollie was watching out for him and helping him along. Cant wait to meet this little one!

Soooo tiny and cute!

Successful Halloween

Happy Halloween! It's a little late but I wanted to make sure and post. This year we decided to be a Valet and a Ladies Maid from "Downton Abbey" Obviously we love that show. It seems to be a theme with us to always do characters from our favorite TV shows.

Ben's costume was a hit this year! Everyone loved it and he played the part really well!  He had the perfect mustache and smile for it:) This costume was so easy to do. All we had to get was a bow tie which was made out of ribbon by my sweet mom. Then, just purchased some white gloves. The suit was Ben's and he just pulled up the collar to make it look like theirs in the movie.

Lucky enough my mom had this costume that I was able to borrow :)

Chad and Catherine dressed up as their favorite charters from "Parks and Recreation" Chad was Ron Swanson and Catherine was Leslie Nope! They did such a great job and played the part the whole night. I loved their costume idea!!

Rhonda and Scott dressed up as "Mr. Clean and Mrs. Dirty" Such a clever costume. I was dying over how much Scott looked like Mr. Clean!

We had an eventful night, we went to the blowing and played laser tag! Can't wait for next years party! Thanks guys.

ATL!

I told you about our adventurers to the baseball stadiums... well this month we were able to take a trip to Georgia to see the Braves! One more to cross off the list. I was pretty excited because we had some good friends there and we were going to make a whole trip of it.

Isn't this a pretty stadium?? I love the atmosphere... and I do try to pay attention to the game ;)

We were able to explore downtown while we were there. We even got to go to ikea!! It's the weirdest thing, Tennessee does not have an ikea. I love how cheap and cute everything is there... so obviously we had to make a stop.

The girls. We had such a great time. Can't wait for next year!

John Mayer CONCERT!! Yahh baby! We were lucky enough to fit in a John Mayer concert along with the game. All I have to say is WOW! That guy is talented. He is even better live!

This picture explains the whole trip :) Loved having us all spend time together!

Baseball Stadiums

Ben and I made a new goal to visit all the baseball stadiums in the United States. This is my way of going on a trip to a new city! We are both happy this way :)

I really love watching baseball... NOT on tv though. The atmosphere at the game is unreal and the food is always yummy!  So our plan is to choose a new stadium every year, accept this year we got to go to a couple more... and I won't complain about that. We were able to travel to California and Georgia.

Our next goal is either New York, Washington DC, Or  San Francisco... Which one should we go to??

Softball (co-ed)

Ben and I signed up to play in a co-ed softball league this year. It was so much fun! I was pretty nervous for our first game, but it turned out to be a blast. You should have seen me I was shaking like crazy and my hands were all sweaty! haha! I managed to get some runs in during the season, which was nice to be able to contribute. Ben hit some in the park home runs which really helped our team! We had a great time... I never thought I would say this... but I would do it next year!

A Twist on Bouquets

I was always feeling bad that Ben could suprise me with a beautiful boquet of flowers but I was never able to do that for him. I finally found something else I could do for him! A Bouquet of Beverages!  This is a great idea to do for Valentine's day or for Anniversary! It's just a little something that means a lot!
