Hair Cut/Colored??

I have been debating... Should I get my hair cut (not short... just more bangs and a little shorter) Or should I keep growing out my bangs and keep it the length it is?? I just can't decide what to do!?!?

Also should I get blonde highlights... or go dark! Ben is really curious to see what my hair would look like dark.. but I'm kinda nervous.. Plus it's hard to keep up and grows out so fast!
If I got blonde, I could let it grow out and be a melt or something. I need HELP!

Or should I go full blown and go short and dark
What Should I do????

Knitting!!!

Yes! I finally learned how to knit! I was so excited... because now I can make tons of scarfs and maybe eventually a blanket! I think what I want to try first is an infinity scarf...
They are so comfy and cute.. not sure how it will turn out, but we will see.

This is just the beginning! Little by little I'll make my scarf.
I love sitting here knitting while Ben watches Football! He was pretty happy I learned, because now I will be more occupied during the game...Girls understand that football gets boring after so long...so we need to do something to be able to watch 4 hours! If anyone wants to learn I am posting how to knit later on in my blog!

Christmas in Utah!

Christmas in Utah!! We are so excited!!

Utah!! Yahh! Loved seeing my parents house and the pretty christmas tree!

Glad to see this little guy and all the snow!! Crazy we had nothing close to this in Nashville!!

Ben and I were especially excited to see his little one!! She is getting so big! Love her so much

Uncle Ben is so sweet! He loved singing to Poppy and she would just sit and stare at him... she loved it

Christmas tradition!! We always have crepes Christmas morning... one of our families favorite thing!!! I could really use some right now!

For Christmas we all got NERF GUNS!! It was the best gift! We had a huge war with everyone in the basement. I never laughed harder. I am lucky to have a family who still likes to play and mess around.... can't wait to see how it will be when we all start having our own kids... even more wild haha!

Family Photo!! We seem to never be able to get a family photo.. this one turned out pretty good though!!

So we went to dinner right after seeing Les Mis... We were still in the Les Mis mood so we all sang our orders to the waiter!! This is a typical day for our family! It was one of the funniest things I have ever heard/seen! One of the best moments of the trip!!

Sad day.... We went to visit Ollie's headstone Christmas eve... We lit candles and put them around the headstone. We all sang Silent Night and it was bitter sweet. We all thought of Ollie's name when they say "all it bright" We all said Ollie's bright. I had never heard the song that way... but now I will never forget that! The picture on the right is on Christmas eve as well. Tiffany and Christopher made all of us shirts with Ollie's face of them! It is such a precious gift!
GO BYU!!

Sledding was a blast! Such a great hill and fun group of people!!

Nashville Tribute Band at the Tabernacle! Truman was able to play that night as well as play with NTB! Such a great show!! Loved seeing these boys!!

Last but not least!! Costa Vida of course! A Trip to Utah wouldn't be complete with out a stop at this place!! Unreal food! I hope it comes to Nashville one day!

All and all this trip was amazing! I didn't want to leave, but I was glad I got to spend time with my family!! I am so grateful for them and for the times we shared! oxox

Little Ollie Pop

I thought I would write a little about my sweet nephew Ollie Kai Hebb. He passed away this last March... He was such a good helper and was helping his sweet mommy put laundry into the washing machine.. they both left the room and what we think happened is, the little helper he is.. he went back to put in a missing sock.... and fell in. No one is to blame for what has happened because he is too lovely and too pure to live on this earth and needed to go back to his heavenly  home. He was such a great example to us all.. I look up to him for all he has done for my family. I really wanted to write this about him so that I could remember certain things about he use to do, also because my mom was making a book of all the memories of Ollie! Please check out my sisters blog and see how you can help save a life! http://hebbsters.blogspot.com/ She is trying to raise awareness about the danger of washing machines.. so please click here and go support her efforts!!

The first thing I think of about Ollie is his chubby little hands. He was just getting rid of his baby fat, but his hands still had a little chunk on them. I loved the way he would talk and say full on sentences in his own language. We would ask him to tell us a story and he would "say" a whole story to us. He would talk about hitting his head and he would point to his head! He is such a smart little boy. He would tell me he wanted to go outside and play by pointing to the door and then pointing outside. I loved his little language. I bet a couple more days and he would have been talking so much! I loved his hair too. It was thin and very soft. I loved just touching his head and feeling his hair. It laid flat on his head and was really straight. It was starting to get so long! I bet it would have been as long as his daddy's! Ollie was also so good at dancing. I remember Face-timing with him and he would dance and dance. His daddy would play the bongo drum really fast and Ollie would dance as fast as he could. He moved his little legs so quickly and moved his arms in the funniest positions. I would beg and beg him to dance for me... he usually only did it when his mommy and daddy would tell him to. One thing I think is amazing is how fast he was potty trained! He was so young yet acted so much like a big boy. I remember several times he would say "uhoh uhoh!" which always meant he was about to go poop or pee or he already had. I am amazed at Ollie's mommy and daddy for teaching him to be potty trained at such a young age. One of my favorite memories of Ollie is rocking him to sleep when he would come to my parents house. I have my own personal story with this... I would rock him to sleep and hum and hum songs ( like his mommy and daddy always did) He would hum with me and play with my finger just to make sure I was still there or something :) So after I would hum and rock back and forth I would lay him down in the crib or on the bed and as soon as my arms were out from under him... he would wake up! I would pick him back up and do it all over again... this time my back and legs hurting a little more. I would try it over and over and it was the same result every time. After doing this three or four time I would have to go get Ollie's mommy... and of course she would do it within a couple minutes. She just had the special touch! I think there was only one time that I actually got him to sleep on my own. I am grateful for that, because if he would have gone to sleep fast I wouldn't have been able to rock and hold him as long as I did each time. Those moments are really precious to me and I will always remember them. Ollie will always have a special place in my heart. He was loved by all he came in contact with. No matter who it was he made them his friend. He was such a good example of how we need to act towards others. We need to be as sweet and pure as little Ollie!

I asked Ben to share his thoughts and memories of Ollie:
"The most treasured moment I had with little Ollie was also one of the last moments I got to share with him. Because everyone loved Ollie so much- and because he was just so fun to be with- most of the time the entire family would be gathered around to hang with him. But the day before Tiffany and Ollie would return to Portland, Ollie and I got to play outside in the backyard... just the two of us. For two precious hours, we ran around chasing and kicking balls all over the yard. He was non-stop. No matter how high or far I threw it, Ollie would hustle as fast as he could towards that ball. It was such a great time. I would bounce the ball against the ground as hard as I could, and he would just laugh the whole time as he watched it fly high into the air above his head. It was the purest, sweetest, most beautiful laugh. I'm just so thankful for those amazing last moments I got to share with our little buddy. I can't wait to play catch with him again someday." -Ben

I am so grateful that my husband was able to meet sweet little Ollie and get to know him! We will never forget the memories we have had with him! We will always have a little angel watching over us!

Ollie's baby sister! He made sure she was always the little ray of sunshine! She smiles and smiles all the time.

Fam Bam!

My family came to visit this past week... it was so much fun to have my family finally see where I live and work! I loved being able to show someone around an area that weren't too familiar with.

My parents are so sweet! The first day my dad got here he fixed my brake pads and the serpentine belt ... and a lot of others things that I don't know the name of.... It was great to have someone that can fix tons of things on my car... instead of my paying a butt load of money for someone else to do the same thing! I have the best dad he is always thinking of others! And of course my mom is so sweet too! she brought me tons of ornaments and Christmas decorations because I had NOTHING! now its like Santa's workshop at my house!

We were able to visit some places Ben and I had never been too, which made that more fun for all of us! This is at the Opry Land Hotel in downtown Nashville! These pictures do not do it justice! It's huge in there... likes its little own world!

Two of the biggest trees I have ever seen! The first one is made up of only poinsettias. It was so beautiful! The second tree is so huge! I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture! It reminded me of when Buddy the elf sees that huge tree in New York... I had the same feeling!

The trip wouldn't be complete without seeing the Parthenon!! My parents loved getting to see the area! We had such a good time exploring!!

We just couldn't resist taking this picture! We were downtown at Ben's office and this was in the hallway! This is my dads twin!! haha! I love my dads new look! It's pretty fun to see him with a beard... He looked so different!!

We were able to go downtown and visit some of the bars and listen to some classy music. We always go to this place called Robert's Western World! It's Such a fun place and they always play the best music on the whole street! It's always classic country (the old real sound).

All and all the trip was a success! I was sad to leave but knew I would see them soon from Christmas... so it wasn't as hard as it normally is! I just can't wait to hang out with them again... this time with the whole family! We need some more family and friends out here so hurry up and come!!

The big twenty-two!!

Birthday Time!! 22!
Wow what to say.... I'm now 22... weird... I still get comments once a day asking me what high school I go to. They are even more shocked when I say that I am not only not in high school, but that I am married! I love the reactions.. Hey at least when I am old I will still look young.. that is a plus. Let's hope it turns out that way.. watch one day I will just age 15 years! Well I am grateful where my life is at right now. I have the greatest husband and we happily live in Nashville, which is our new home! Home is where your husband is :)

I have the sweetest husband. He does NOT cook much... or at all.... but he made this cake for me with no other help! That really meant a lot to have him go out of his way to make a beautiful cake! That made my birthday right there! I am so grateful to have such a thoughtful husband!

We were able to go to the lake before the sun set. It was the perfect timing to go.. the lake was beautiful and the sun just make the night seem perfect. You don't get to see the sunset much in Nashville.... If you do it's only for a second and then you go down a hill and it's gone. While we were at the lake we got to feed the birds.... they were like vultures more than birds and looked like velociraptors!! They were charging us to get our bread. I was screaming every time they got close and would throw the bread far so that they would stop charging. I was afraid they were going to peck on my legs or on my fingers!

What do you think about these ear muffs?? Should I get them?? We were shopping a little before dinner! Luckily I didn't buy these....A little too big! After shopping we went to Chilies one of my favorite places!! I love chips and salsa almost more than I love sleeping. Then we went to our house to play games with our friends! What a great way to spend the day! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and fun times! love you all! oxox
